Aimms Service Partnership
In January 2005, Ab Ovo Nederland B.V. and Paragon Decision Technology BV signed an AIMMS Service Partner Agreement. Ab Ovo uses the AIMMS technology since 2004, and is capable of providing its customers services and solutions that enable them to increase the efficiency and performance of their company. The combination of the experience of Ab Ovo and the state-of-the art modelling and optimization technology of AIMMS will lead to an improved and more complete service to clients of Ab Ovo and Paragon.
Applications and solutions
One of the first successes of Ab Ovo with AIMMS is a stock optimization project carried out for Etos, the biggest chemist’s retail chain in the Netherlands. Within the project a econometric stock optimization model was set up. This model is modelled within AIMMS. The project has led to a 15% decrease in costs of their stock plus a significant increase in delivery reliability.
