They provide technology services to the process industry- including chemicals, polymers, petroleum & petrochemicals, and food & beverage. Applied Optimization develops solutions for Planning, Asset Management and Process Optimization. The company offers a unique blend of consulting services and software-based tools to enhance the profitability and smooth functioning of the client’s business. Their customized software tools interface seamlessly with existing ERP and database systems, and enable companies to leverage all the date available at their disposal for optimal decision-making.

AIMMS Service Partnership
In January 2004, Applied Optimization and Paragon signed the AIMMS Service Partnership Agreement. Applied Optimization had already been using the AIMMS modeling system for servicing their clients since their inception.

Some examples of solutions built in AIMMS by Applied Optimization are the Sales and Operations Planning tool (S&OPlanner), the Winery Cellar Planning tool, and the Pharmaceutical Testing Asset Management tool.
