The Tutorial for Excel Users is aimed towards people who are familiar with using the Solver functionality of Microsoft Excel for modeling and solving their problems. By an example problem that is modeled in both Excel and AIMMS, an overview of the AIMMS counterparts for each step in the modeling and solving process within Excel is presented.

The Tutorial for Excel Users consists of three components

  • A PDF file
  • An Excel file containing the input data and a model of the problem
  • An AIMMS project
