AIMMS Maintenance Service is available for users who want to stay current with new AIMMS developments and assure that they are supported within their application releases.
To enable customers to benefit from newly developed features we have the following AIMMS Release Schedule.

Feature Releases
Feature Releases include fixes and enhancements ready for use without the need to wait for a Production Release. These Feature Releases are issued on a regular basis.
An AIMMS Feature Release is a release of the AIMMS Software designated by Paragon as a change in the digit(s) of the z-component(s) of the AIMMS Software version number [x.y.z].
The first feature release of a release cycle leading to a new production release is designated by Paragon as a change in the digit(s) of the x- and/or y-component(s). A Feature Release is recognized by ‘FR’ in the z-component of the AIMMS Software version number; it typically provide new features, new solvers, and/or bug fixes.
Production Releases
An AIMMS Production Release is a release of the AIMMS Software, which is designated by Paragon as a change in the letters(s) from “FR” to “PR” in the z-component of the AIMMS Software version number [x.y.z]; it will only provide bug fixes or small solver updates. Production Releases are issued at the beginning of each calendar year. We will support Production Releases with Software Updates, such that they remain operational on agreed hardware and operating systems, up to 2 years after its initial release date.
Software Updates
An AIMMS Software Update is a release of the AIMMS Software, which is designated by Paragon as a change in the digit(s) of the z-component(s) of the AIMMS Software version number [x.y.z]; it provides only bug fixes or small solver updates for a particular AIMMS Maintenance or Production Release.
Maintenance Releases (up to AIMMS 3.9)
An AIMMS Maintenance Release was a release of the AIMMS Software designated by Paragon as a change in the digit(s) of the x- and/or y-component(s) of the AIMMS Software version number [x.y.z]. A maintenance release provided new functionality, new solvers and bug fixes.
Support and Upgrades
As long as you have your AIMMS license(s) in maintenance (i.e. by paying Paragon a license maintenance fee), you are entitled to download and install all AIMMS Releases (Maintenance, Feature, Production) and Software Updates that are available at no extra cost. In addition, maintenance allows you to upgrade your license to a more extended license, for example with additional solvers.
If your AIMMS license(s) are not maintained, you are only entitled to download and install the AIMMS Maintenance or Production Releases that were available at the moment of purchase. All Software Updates of these releases will be available as well. Renewals options exist for licenses that are not maintained.
All AIMMS Releases and Software Updates are not covered by any warranty or condition, express, implied or statutory, and are expressly subject to the limitations and exclusions and other terms and conditions set forth in the AIMMS License Agreement.
