Upcoming AIMMS release includes KNITRO 5.0
Haarlem (The Netherlands) - Per AIMMS 3.7, KNITRO will also be offered as an optional solver extension. KNITRO has been designed by Ziena Optimization Inc. for solving large-scale general nonlinear problems, but also solves problems with complementarity constraints (MPCC). With the upcoming release, the 30-day free Trial License will also be extended with KNITRO to allow you to experience the AIMMS/ KNITRO combo yourself.
AIMMS 3.7 is to be released in October 2006, a Release Candidate will become available at the end of this month.
