CentER develops decision support tool for Nokia’s planning process
You would expect that in a dynamic sector like the telecommunication industry decision support techniques are frequently used. However, at Nokia Mobil Phones Europe & Africa this was not the case; many complicated planning processes were done by hand. During a graduation practice an AIMMS-based decision support system was made for planning process of supply, capacity, and demand. This decision support system can contribute to lowering the total costs and adapt to the demands of the customers.
