Haarlem, The Netherlands, 03.12.2025 – AIMMS has partnered with Curtin Centre for Optimisation and Decision Science (CODS), part of Curtin University, to accelerate innovation at the intersection of academic research and real-world decision-making technology. This collaboration represents a shared commitment to bridging advanced theory and immediate industrial value through the integration of CODS’s research excellence and the AIMMS Optimization Tooling.
Together, AIMMS and Curtin CODS are building a foundation for the next generation of intelligent decision support solutions, enabling impactful outcomes across key sectors such as mining, logistics, energy, sustainability, and agriculture. The partnership will combine CODS’s deep expertise in advanced optimization and mathematical modeling with AIMMS’s proven capabilities in developing deployable applications for business-critical problems.
“Collaboration with AIMMS marks a significant step toward translating our team’s applied research in mathematical optimization into tangible, real-world impact,” said Dr Sarang Kulkarni, Senior Research Fellow at CODS and leader of the collaboration.
The partnership includes joint initiatives focused on model deployment, education, and algorithmic innovation. Through hands-on learning and co-development opportunities, students and researchers at Curtin CODS will gain access to AIMMS technology, fostering a new generation of analysts equipped to drive operational excellence through optimization and analytics.
Once fully operational, this collaboration will enable the two organizations to:
- Translate advanced research models into deployable business applications.
- Equip students and researchers with hands-on experience using an industry-leading optimization platform.
- Create a structured innovation pipeline for new algorithms addressing sustainability, planning, and logistics challenges across industries.
- Strengthen connection between optimization modelers & scientists and business users by productization.
